Zulfiya Suleimenova - speaker of CACCC 2020

The Third Central Asia Climate Change Conference (CACCC 2020) will be held online on October 19-23, 2020. The objective of the conference is to strengthen a regional dialogue on climate change and sustainable development through the information and knowledge exchange in Central Asia.    A series of our publications will be dedicated to the speakers of the upcoming event. And, today, we would like to introduce you to Zulfiya Suleimenova, Deputy Director of the Climate Policy and Green Technologies Department at the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She will participate as a panelist in the session “Kicking-off climate actions in national policies and transitioning to green economy” of the first day of CACCC 2020, October 19, 2020.

Zulfiya Suleimenova - Deputy Director of the Climate Policy and Green Technologies Department at the Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Previously she worked with United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, United Nations Development Offices in Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan Institute for Strategic Studies (KazISS).

Zulfiya Suleimenova is also pursuing a Ph.D. degree with the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).
