The Executive Committee of International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (EC IFAS) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the “Climate Adaptation and Mitigation Program for the Aral Sea Basin”, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Targeted upgrading of climate-related monitoring systems in the Republic of Tajikistan (phase 2).
The Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Targeted upgrading of climate-related monitoring systems in the Republic of Tajikistan (phase 2) as follows:
Lot 1 - Supply, delivery and commissioning of Air Quality Monitoring system.
Lot 2 - Supply, delivery and commissioning of Modern educational automatized meteorological complex.
Lot 3 - 2 (two) Mobile Laboratories of Environmental Control and Monitoring.
Final destination is Project Sites in Republic of Tajikistan (Detailed list presented in the bidding document).
Supply, delivery, installation and commissioning of Air Quality Monitoring system, Modern educational automatized meteorological complex and 2 (two) Mobile Laboratories of Environmental Control and Monitoring and associated civil works shall be completed within 4 months of the signing of the contract.
Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, (i) Guidelines: Procurement of Goods, Works, and Non-Consultancy Services under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011 and revised July 2014; (ii) Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants Under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers dated January 2011 and revised July 2014 and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents from the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia at the address below during office hours 09:00 to 17:00 of Almaty time. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be received by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below. The document will be sent by electronic mail.
All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of for Lot 1 - 11 220 USD, for Lot 2 – 2 200 USD and for Lot 3 - 12 300 USDor an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency, and be sends as attachment(s) to the e-mail address smustafin@carececo.org not later 15:00 pm of Almaty time, 20 October 2020. (Detailed the procedures for submission of bids through email and the online opening procedure presented in the bidding document). Late bids will be rejected.
