The study is part of a regional project on capacity-Building and development of a strategic framework to support low-carbon development in Central Asia, which is being implemented by the United Nations environment Programme (UNEP) and funded by the government of the Republic of Korea. The regional study was developed by the regional environmental centre for Central Asia (CAREC).
