This study was conducted by the regional environmental center for Central Asia (CAREC) in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific adaptation network (APAN). The study provides an overview of existing climate change adaptation initiatives in Central Asian States and identifies useful examples of adaptation, taking into account the specific challenges of climate change, as well as relevant actions taken by different actors in the subregion.
