This situation analysis of the Republic of Tajikistan is one of the results of the assessments of African and Asian countries to determine long-term planning of research projects under the PRICE initiative (towards sustainability in semi-arid countries). PRICE is a new five-year program designed for several countries whose key objective is to gain new knowledge on how economic development is in semi-arid regions can be made more resilient to climate change.
